Annual Awards

LeadingAge Ohio Awards Program

LeadingAge Ohio proudly honors outstanding members each year in a number of categories, recognizing organizational excellence and individual leadership across our membership. LeadingAge Ohio members are encouraged to nominate individuals, programs or groups in each awards category, which are presented at the annual conference.

 Submitting a Nomination

Nominations for the 2017 Award program will open early March 2017.  Review the different award categories below and start thinking about WHO in your organization deserves the chance to be recognized among their peers.

Step 1: Please click on the category name to determine award criteria.

Get the Word Out to Your Staff

This year, we have created resources to help members spread the word among their staff and facilities about the Award program and get the nominations flowing.  Print these off and spread the word!

Awards Selection Process

The Awards Committee will review nominations and make selections for awards, notifying nominees of decisions before the end of June.  The committee reserves the right to move nominations to different categories to consider them where they best fit.

New Image

LeadingAge Ohio is PROUD to be able to take the Awards program to the next level.  New in 2016, some of the award categories have the potential to align with categories at the national level offered through LeadingAge.  Winners selected in these categories through LeadingAge Ohio may be forwarded to LeadingAge for consideration as part of the 2017 LeadingAge Award Program.  These categories include, but are not limited to, the Visionary Leadership Award, Volunteer Service Award, Excellence in Service (Best Practices) Award, and Board Member of Distinction.
